Mount Kilimanjaro Climb

MountKilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and fourth highest mountain in the world. It is situated 5,895 meters above sea level. Hans Meyer and Ludwig Purtscheller were the first people to have reached the summit of the mountain in 1889. It is a major climbing destination in Tanzania and is part of the Kilimanjaro national park. Many scientific studies are being conducted to study its shrinking glaciers and disappearing ice fields. Kilimanjaro trek is generating around 12,000 seasonal jobs for guides, porters and cooks every year. There are many affordable safaris and trekking service providers in East Africa. One of them, which I personally recommend is Shah Tours, which has over 30 years of experience in this field and has assisted more than 150,000 travelers in their attempt to the roof top of Africa.
